Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Nixar Holdings LLC, a California limited liability company, doing business as Buildwell ("Buildwell", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Buildwell website at buildwellhq.com and the Buildwell software platform (together, the "Service").

Buildwell is business software used by home-service companies ("tenants"). Where a tenant stores information about its own customers in the Service, the tenant is responsible for that data and we process it on the tenant's behalf to provide the Service.

• Account information — name, email address, password credentials, business name, and role, provided when you request access, join the waitlist, or are invited to a workspace.
• Customer and job data — information tenants store in the Service about their own business and customers: contact details, service addresses, job and appointment records, estimates, invoices, payments status, messages, and reviews.
• Usage and device data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken in the app, plus error and diagnostic reports, used to secure and improve the Service.

• to provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service;
• to respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
• to send service-related communications (such as invites, security notices, and account messages);
• to monitor performance, debug problems, and improve the product;
• to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell personal information.

Parts of the Service involve SMS text messages — for example, messages a tenant's business sends to its customers about leads, appointments, estimates, invoices, or review requests, and messages we may send to account holders about the Service.

SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and opt-in information are used only to deliver the messages described above, and are shared only with our SMS delivery providers to the extent necessary to send those messages on our (or our tenants') behalf.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, and get assistance by replying HELP or contacting us at info@buildwellhq.com.

We share information only as needed to run the Service, with service providers acting on our instructions:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security for the application;
• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage;
• Stripe — payment processing (we do not store full payment-card numbers);
• Communication providers — email and SMS delivery services used to send the messages described in this policy, and lead platforms (such as Yelp) a tenant has connected to its account.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy will continue to apply to previously collected data).

We retain information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and tenant-level data isolation — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may access and update your account information in the app, and you may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. If your information is stored in the Service by one of our tenants (for example, you are a customer of a contractor that uses Buildwell), we may direct your request to that tenant, who controls that data.

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice) before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
